Description
Cinnamon Baked Pears are so easy to make, take no time at all, and straight up taste like dessert for breakfast! Perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert or a scoop of yogurt for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 pear
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp coconut oil, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Slice pear in half and core out center.
- Place pear face down on an oven safe pan coated with coconut oil and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Bake for 15 – 30 min until soft (timing depends on how ripe/soft your pear was to begin with).
Notes
- I frequently eat my pears for breakfast with a side of yogurt and granola but they’re also perfect for dessert with a scoop of vanilla bean or caramel ice cream.
- One of the great things about this recipe is you can use pears with just about any level of ripeness. Even if your pear isn’t super ripe yet, just bake it for longer until it’s soft.
