Satisfy your cravings for cinnamon rolls with this delicious and filling cinnamon roll oatmeal bake! Delicious, full of perfect cinnamon flavor, and the perfect way to kickstart your day.

Baked oatmeal on a blue plate

I ran out of shampoo this morning which mean that I’ll be borrowing the hubs and smelling like the scent of “Every Man Jack”….. whatever that is. Don’t you ever wish you could just bottle the scent of your baked goods to carry around with you? If I could just carry around a fresh baked Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal Bake in my purse all day maybe people would just assume that the sweet cinnamon scent is in fact me. That’s the dream anyways! The perfect level of sweet and a touch of spice from the cinnamon, you’re going to love this oatmeal bake!

For this Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal Bake you will need:

  • banana
  • rolled oatmeal
  • nut milk
  • vanilla
  • cinnamon
  • baking powder
  • chopped pecans
  • vanilla protein powder (this one is my favorite)

Description

Satisfy your cravings for cinnamon rolls with this delicious and filling cinnamon roll oatmeal bake! Delicious, full of perfect cinnamon flavor, and the perfect way to kickstart your day.

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (I used cashew)
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans
  • 1/2 heaping tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)

Frosting option 1:

  • 2 tbsp vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Frosting option 2:

  • 2 tbsp whipped cream cheese
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Frosting option 3:

  • 2 tbsp melted coconut butter
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and grease or spray an oven safe dish.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a separate bowl and then pour into prepared dish.
  3. Add extra banana slices/pecans on top (optional) and bake for 25 min.
  4. Let cool, drizzle on your favorite “frosting”, and enjoy!

Notes

  1. I’ve listed out several ideas for the glaze or “frosting”. The second frosting made with cream cheese is going to taste the most similar to your classic cinnamon roll frosting, but all three are delicious. Pictured here is when I went with the coconut butter based frosting. Delicious!
  2. The nutrition facts do not include the optional vanilla protein powder.
