You know it’s going to be one of those days when it’s day “I can’t remember the last time I washed these jeans that I’m currently wearing”. I think we’ve all been there…. right? One quick way to turn that day around and get it together for the rest of the week? Make a double batch of my favorite Double Chocolate Oatmeal Bake! You will thank your future self by prepping these for the week! Chocolate on chocolate? What could be better??

To make this Double Chocolate Oatmeal Bake you will need:

  • banana
  • rolled oatmeal
  • cocoa powder
  • nut milk
  • vanilla
  • baking powder
  • sea salt
  • chocolate protein powder
  • chocolate chips

Description

This double chocolate oatmeal bake basically tastes like desert yet is healthy enough for breakfast! Who doesn’t love a little chocolate on chocolate?


Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oatmeal
  • 1 cup milk of choice (I used cashew)
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 heaping tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 heaping scoop chocolate protein powder (optional)
  • chocolate chips (as many as desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and grease or spray an oven safe dish (or line with parchment paper).
  2. Mix all ingredients in a separate bowl and then pour into prepared dish. (I used a 5×7 glass Tupperware)
  3. Add extra banana slices and chocolate chips on top (optional) and bake for 25 min.
  4. Let cool, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
