It’s chocolate…. for breakfast! Double Chocolate Overnight Oatmeal to be exact. Incredibly rich and delicious while still being super healthy. Plus it all comes together in approx. 1 minute so you really can’t go wrong.
When I was a kid I thought that by the time I was in my twenties, I would have the whole adult thing figured out…. and by gosh I do believe I have cracked the adult code! Here’s the secret: all anyone really wants is to eat chocolate for breakfast (and all day long if we’re being honest). However that annoying nagging inner adult voice that we all have that wants us to be responsible frequently dissuades the whole “chocolate for breakfast” thing. Well good news folks! With these Double Chocolate Overnight Oatmeal you can have your cake and eat it to (so to speak… although we should revisit the idea of cake for breakfast…. another intriguing idea).
The most delicious rich chocolate flavors in a healthy, easy-to-make overnight oatmeal recipe. Cocoa powder and chocolate protein powder bring the chocolate punch while a dash of real maple syrup brings the sweet. This recipe is so easy, is full of only quality ingredients, and takes no time to throw together. If you like this recipe you may also enjoy my recipe for Vanilla Cold Brew Overnight Oatmeal.

I’m always on the lookout for easy breakfast ideas for my daughter. I made this recipe for Double Chocolate Overnight Oats last night. She added a tablespoon of peanut butter and took it on the go. I thought it was delicious, but she thought it was amazing! She texted me from work and said it was like eating a chocolate peanut butter cup. Thanks for a great recipe!
