Seriously though this chili is so easy to throw together and so easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. The coziest bowl that’s packed with healthy goods. I personally enjoy mine with a little cheese on top with some cornbread or tortilla chips on the side. You’re going to love this Fall spin on a classic!

- ground turkey
- sweet potato
- red kidney beans
- tomato sauce
- pumpkin puree
- bell pepper
- chicken or veggie broth
- oregano
- chili powder
- cumin
- red pepper flakes
- garlic powder
- salt and pepper

Description
This Easy Pumpkin Turkey Chili recipe is the perfect Fall dish made with ground turkey, canned pumpkin, red kidney beans and sweet potatoes.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
- 1 medium sweet potato, peeled and chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large pot over medium- high heat. Add the ground turkey, oregano, chili powder, paprika, cumin, red pepper flakes, garlic powder and salt and pepper and fully cook.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, chicken broth, and pumpkin. Cover and let simmer on low-medium heat for 25 minutes.
- Not add in the sweet potato, cover with lid and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Add in the bell pepper and kidney beans and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Notes
You can add add in the bell peppers and kidney beans when you add in the sweet potatoes but the bell peppers may get a little mushier than desired.
