Gooey Chocolate Chip Pretzel Blondies! So rich and delicious with the best salty pretzel crunch to create the perfect bite!

Gooey Chocolate Chip Pretzel Blondies

And the question on my mind is….. pretzels or goldfish?? I’m a pretzel gal myself but as a kid I was hardcore goldfish…that is until I ate one too many pizza flavored goldfish on long road trips and wondered why I was chronically carsick (barf).  Good thing I made the switch to pretzels because goldfish just really wouldn’t work as well in a blondie, you feel me?

These Gooey Chocolate Chip Pretzel Blondies are so ooey so gooey and so simple to make! Minimal ingredients thrown together to make the most delicious dessert in less than 30 minutes. Plus who doesn’t love a little salt pretzel crunch on top? Win, win, and win!

Description

Gooey Chocolate Chip Pretzel Blondies! So rich and delicious with the best salty pretzel crunch to create the perfect bite!

Scale

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup coconut flour
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup broken pretzels

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and line a 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond butter, eggs, maple syrup and vanilla.
  3. In a small bowl combine coconut flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Pour the dry ingredients into wet and mix until well combined. Pour the batter into the 8×8 pan, sprinkle on pretzels and bake at 350F for 20 minutes or until the edges start to turn a golden brown. )I like a gooey center.)
  5. Let cool completely and enjoy! (The blondies will set up further as they cool)

Notes

If you don’t like a gooey center just cook the blondies until a toothpick comes out clean!
